Cityland Group, the real estate team behind Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Butterfly Garden, is currently developing the world’s first nature-inspired shopping destination. The 1.1 billion Cityland Mall is set for a mid-2018 opening and boasts a capacity of 7000 visitors. A 200,000-square-foot open-air garden, dubbed as Central Park, will be the venue’s main highlight, providing shoppers with a unique experience in retail therapy.
The shopping complex will also feature a miniature version of Dubai Miracle Garden, a Japanese garden with a 500-metre jogging track, a water park and an ancient garden with trees dating back 300 years. The venue will be home to a cluster of restaurants and cafés as well as a rooftop garden featuring al fresco dining options. An amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 3000 guests will also be part of the property, providing a platform for the performing arts.
