With up to 60 live events taking place daily at Expo 2020 Dubai, including National Day celebrations for all participating countries, visitors are invited to explore the world in one place

Expo 2020 Dubai has hosted an exciting array of events and entertainment shows since the mega event first opened its doors in October 2021. Every day, up to 60 live events take place at one of the site’s many world-class venues. From live music to mascot entertainment, daily parades to 360-degree immersive projection shows, there’s something for everyone. Mark your diaries for this month’s highlights.

Colours of the World parade

Daily  12:45pm    Ghaf Avenue
This unique cultural fusion experience is a vibrant, colourful and moving celebration featuring performers and musicians from around the world. Throughout the course of Expo 2020 Dubai, each participating nation will celebrate a National Day, which will be highlighted in the parade, blending the culture of the UAE with other international traditions.

Malaysia: Truly Asia cultural showcase

Daily  7PM    Earth Stage
Immerse yourself in Malaysia’s enthralling culture, with a series of performances showcasing the country’s diverse and rich heritage. A unique variety of traditional music, dance and cuisine comes together to give everyone a taste of this vibrant Southeast Asian nation.

Starovinsko Singing

March 6  1:30PM    Sea Stage
A rare chance to hear traditional music from Dalmatia and the Dalmatian Hinterland, this concert is performed by two Croatian female singers. The style of singing is listed by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. March 6 is also dedicated to Croatia, in honour of its National Day, and sees a variety of cultural festivities taking place at the Croatia Pavilion and around the Expo site.

Firdaus Orchestra

March 8  8PM    Jubilee Stage
Expo 2020 Dubai’s all-women orchestra will perform once again on March 8. Mentored by Oscar and Grammy-winner A. R. Rahman and conducted by Yasmina Sabbah, the ensemble is made up of 50 musicians from 23 countries around the Arab world. Concerts have been held regularly from October 23 onwards, since the group’s debut, featuring inspiring works composed by Rahman.

Sounds of Aotearoa – Ardijah and Annie Crummer

March 9  6PM    Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre
Get into a foot-tapping Kiwi groove with the iconic New Zealand-based music group, Ardijah, and singer-songwriter Annie Crummer. Experience the combined musical magic of R&B, funk, psychedelic folk and the unique flavour of Polynesian rhythms with this spectacular show.

Voices of the  Andalusian Gardens

March 25  9PM 
  Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre
This concert showcases the oldest and most significant traditional Andalusian and Gharnati Arabic music, with performances from the Orchestra of Fez and Moroccan singer-songwriter Nabyla Maan. The evening will culminate with both acts performing together.
