This homegrown Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is set to be one of the most exciting launches on The Pointe
II Passaggio, a homegrown Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, set to open today, is touted to become one of the most exciting venues on The Pointe. Meaning passage in Italian, guests will be able to journey through the Med at this interactive dining venue.
Time-tested culinary rituals take centre stage at the restaurant, taking traditional flavours to new heights with just the right amount of modern-day flair. The result is an all-day menu full of vibrant colours and rich textures.
For a leisurely start to the day, breakfast at Il Passaggio includes healthy acai bowls, decadent French toast, shakshuka, truffle croissant and eggs served in six different ways. There are also three breakfast combos to try, including Il Passaggio favourite, healthy choice and classic featuring a range of breakfast staples, all served with unlimited house brewed tea or coffee.
The menu further offers a range of soups, salads, burgers, pizzas and pasta dishes. Highlights include the truffle flatbread, quinoa salad, steak burger, the signature pizza and beef lasagna.
An extensive drinks menu will be available featuring speciality teas, fresh juices and shots, mocktails and fruity milkshakes. Coffee connoisseurs looking for their caffeine fix can perch at the coffee bar, which, among several other options, offers the II Passaggio home-roasted blend.
Il Passaggio makes the most of the fabulous views of the iconic Atlantis, The Palm in its backdrop, offering the perfect al fresco setting (even when seated inside). The venue also hits the right notes in terms of its décor. The modern, airy restaurant has a vaulted glass roof orangery-inspired kitchen gallery and fresh white walls decorated modestly with black and white prints. A touch of luxe is added with marble tables and unique light fixtures. While relaxing in the wicker furniture-setting on the terrace, with a wide vista of views across Palm Bay, guests will feel transported to the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
With open kitchens, guests will be able to view the bakery, pasta, pizza and dessert teams in action. There is even the opportunity to sit at the pizza station – set to be the venue’s most sought-after seats.
